2008 Children & Youth Benefit
Dance Performance for China Earthquake Relief
Set for June 8 at Babson College
Weston,
MA (May 25, 2008) --- more than 110 dancers from Massachusetts and New
Hampshire --- ages 5-16 years old will showcase their talent in a night of
traditional Chinese folk dancing in a benefit performance to aid earthquake
victims in their homeland of China on Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to
9:00 p.m. at the Sorenson Center for the Arts at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

by the Angel Performance Art (APA) Company of Weston, the ¡°2008 Children &
Youth Benefit Dance Performance for China Earthquake Relief¡± ¡± will feature a
total of 20 colorful and intricate dances representing many parts of China.
¡°The
world was shocked on May 12th when a major earthquake devastated
China¡¯s Sichuan Province,¡± said Ms. Ke Ke, Director of the Angel Performance
Art Company and hostess of the benefit performance. ¡°Some of our dancers have
family in the stricken area, and our hearts go out to the survivors so we are
donating all proceeds from this event to help our homeland recover and rebuild.
¡°
More
than 100 community organizations and businesses in Greater Boston have already
joined together in an outpouring of humanitarian support to raise hundreds of
thousands of dollars for China Earthquake Relief.
¡°We
are part of a worldwide effort to aid the millions of our brothers and sisters
who have survived,¡± said Ms. Ke Ke, ¡°and you can join with us by purchasing
tickets and attending the performance on June 8th.¡±
